Siegfried G. Montano, Jr.
Our firm's founder and a CPA, Mr. Montano acquired his early accounting experience as an Audit Manager with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Co. (now KPMG Peat Marwick).

He went on to establish his own accountancy in 1974, and his firm has operated continuously ever since, steadily diversifying its client base and the nature of its services.

Mr. Montano has also played leadership roles in many civic and professional organizations.

Stanford L. Call
A CPA, Mr. Call joined the firm in 1989, bringing extensive audit and accounting experience gained from Ernst & Whinney (now Ernst & Young). He became a partner in Montano & Associates in 1991, with responsibilities primarily for audits and accounting systems.

Mr. Call also has considerable experience planning and implementing financial management systems and integrating them with project control systems.

Jonathan S. Reed
Director, Tax Services Division
Mr. Reed, a New Mexico CPA, joined our team in 1996. His duties include compliance review, research into a broad range of tax issues, and tax-related planning and correspondence, on behalf of individuals, trusts, partnerships, corporations, and nonprofit organizations.

Beginning his career with KPMG Peat Marwick, he later served as Tax Manger for several accounting firms. His expertise encompasses ensuring tax compliance and conducting research in behalf of individuals, trusts, partnerships, corporations, and non-profit organizations, as well as federal and state excise, sales, and property tax returns.

Jim C. Griego
Manager, Accounting Services Department
A member of our team since 1997, Mr. Griego oversees staff compliance of financial data and review of financial information. He also serves in the firm's Tax Division and specializes in individuals and businesses and represents clients before the IRS and State taxation authorities. In support of our firm's business consulting services, he conducts research into a variety of tax accounting issues.

Mr. Griego brings our clients the benefit of over five years of experience with the Internal Revenue Service, where he examined tax returns for individuals, estates, partnerships, and corporations. He also has many years of experience working for private accounting firms, supervising and training staff, and managing his own CPA firm.
